What's inside the HTA final report?

The much-anticipated HTA Review's Final Report has been released by the Albanese Government with 50 recommendations to improve access to new medicines and vaccines for Australians and an independent implementation group to be appointed to drive future reforms.
The report doesn't offer a silver bullet but rather warns "a multi-faceted approach will be required to improve the HTA arrangements" serving up a 236 page how-to guide with the simple end game - timely access to affordable medicines to meet the needs of all Australians.
