Budget holds no prizes for pharma

With the gargantuan task of easing the cost of living for Australians while keeping the books in surplus and inflation low,  it's probably no surprise Treasurer Jim Chalmers' something-for-everybody Budget - held no prizes for the pharma industry.

But there was good news for patients with the PBS general co-payment to be frozen at $31.60 until 2026 and for pensioners and concession cardholders there will be no increases for five years.
