Ex PM-staffer nabbed by RCA

Posted 22 April 2024 PM

Rare Cancers Australia (RCA) has bolstered its Board with two appointments - a former Prime Ministerial staffer and a successful IT entrepreneur - as the powerhouse in patient advocacy doubles down on its new Strategic Plan and "bold new initiatives".

Kate McQuestin, a former media assistant to Prime Minister John Howard brings more than 20 years experience in public affairs and government relations to the table having worked across Federal Government as well as the Department of Premier and Cabinet in NSW.  She also spent six years as Corporate Communications manager at News Corp and ran her own public relations firm.
