Flu vax program wins a boost

The Albanese Government has announced an expansion of the National Immunisation Program (NIP) that will see community pharmacists provide free flu vaccinations in aged care facilities.
Under the change, pharmacists will be able to provide off site flu vaccinations and other vaccines under the NIP from next week. Reported cases of the flu to date in Australia are 40 per cent higher than this time last year.
