New Aussie boss wins top role

One month to the day after becoming Bayer Country Head ANZ for the company's Pharmaceutical Division Manoj Saxena has picked up an additional role as Chairman and CEO of the Bayer Group ANZ.

He takes over from Ashraf Al-Ouf who has moved to Singapore as Head of Commercial Operations Pharmaceuticals Asia Pacific, having held the Chairman and CEO role - leading all of Bayer's corporate operations in ANZ - since November 2022. He was also the General Manager of the company's local pharma division, a position he'd held since 2019.
