Australians will be able to assess their risk of cardiovascular disease at nationwide pop-up clinics with the launch of a new heart health screening program.
The Healthy Hearts initiative is a partnership between Novartis and Wesfarmers Health. It will see trained pharmacists screen for cardiovascular risk factors, including blood pressure and cholesterol, in locations such as shopping centres and outside community events, as an alternative to a GP's office.
