String of 'firsts' win approval

The TGA has approved a host of new products ranging from first-in-class drugs, such as Roche's pegged blockbuster Vabysmo, to the first generics of PBS-listed drugs.

Vabysmo is the first bispecific antibody approved for the eye in Australia and works by blocking the activity of proteins known as agiopoietin-2 and VEGF-A.
