In just two weeks Adelaide-based biotech Vaxine has raised enough cash to file its homegrown Covid vaccine with the TGA, thanks to the Australian public.
The company's business manager of 20 years, Sharen Petrovsky organised a GoFundMe page last month, called 'Bring Covax-19 Vaccine back to Australia' with the aim of raising $326,500 to cover the costs of filing an application for registration in Australia, after hopes of receiving government support were dashed.
