'Crowd funding' for Aussie vax

Adelaide-based biotech Vaxine says it is "relying on crowd funding" to cover the hefty costs of filing an application to register its protein-based COVID-19 vaccine in Australia.

A GoFundMe page set up by the company's business manager, Sharen Pringle, called 'Bring Covax-19 Vaccine back to Australia' has already raised over $113,000 in six days since it was set up, surpassing a third of its $326,500 target.
