The secrecy that hampers PBAC decisions

The Decoding Nexavant: The Access & Evaluation Tug-of-War panel at NEXT 26 raised the veil on the challenges pharmas face in reaching an agreement to fund their drug, being that nobody really knows what price the other party is suggesting.

Following the process of bringing fictional drug Nexavant to market over Day 2 of the summit, former BMS Senior Director of Access, Policy, & Advocacy Greg Cook, PBAC Team Senior Evaluator Professor Richard De Abreu Lourenco, and Menarini Regional Market Access & Pricing Director Julie Ellis outlined the funding negotiations from both the pharma and the evaluators point of view.

Getting a recommendation from the PBAC is not the end of the negotiations, Cook pointed out.
