Company names new Aussie Country Leader

Astellas Australia has named Guillaume Pfeiffer as its new General Manager, effective 12 October 2026.

Pfeiffer brings more than 20 years of pharmaceutical leadership experience across commercial strategy, market access, launch excellence, medical strategy and government affairs. He has held senior local, regional and global roles across Australia, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States, with his experience spanning specialty care, rare diseases, oncology, haematology and cell and gene therapy.

Most recently, Guillaume served as General Manager for Recordati Rare Disease Australia where he led business transformation, delivered important market access outcomes and helped build a more agile, patient-focused organisation.
