Aussie MD surprise resignation

Pfizer Managing Director ANZ Anne Harris has unexpectedly announced her resignation, stepping down after 26 years with the company, explaining the time is right for new opportunities and further growth.

The surprise departure comes after almost six years leading the company's ANZ business, which kicked off with what she described as a 'baptism of fire' navigating the COVID-19 pandemic and supply of vaccines to Australia.
