Industry has ploughed more than $24.3 million into third party meeting sponsorships over six months with Pfizer spending the most followed by AstraZeneca, GSK, and Eli Lilly, which each spent over $2 million.
Data released through Medicines Australia’s transparency reporting revealed there were 2026 events, attended by 654,365 healthcare professionals between 1 May 2024 and 31 October 2024.
