Access gap blows out to 676 days
The widely touted figure of 466 days between TGA approval and PBS listing has been blown out of the water with new figures revealing patients now wait an average 676 days for the medicines they need.
Amgen's latest Australian Patient Access Gap Tracker reveals that in the 12 months to April, the average delay has grown by 91 days.
The Tracker calculates the average patient access gap (PAG) days for all medicines and population pairings between January 2021 and April 2025.
