New roles for ex-Minister, top exec

A former Federal Health Minister and a senior pharma executive are back in the industry spotlight after landing new roles.

A newly formed national Telehealth Sector Working Group convened by alternative healthcare company Montu will be chaired by former Health Minister Greg Hunt, with the aim of helping shape shared principles for high-quality virtual care in Australia.

Founding members include Rare Cancers Australia, the Members Health Fund Alliance, and the Medical Technology Association of Australia alongside experienced service providers such as Marathon Health, Honeysuckle Health, CU Health, and EACH, as well as digital mental health platforms such as WE LYSN and Valion Health. The group also includes Chris Raine, a leading expert in alcohol and other drug policy.
