Albo's J&J spruik triggers debate

 Posted 18 March 2025 AM

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has taken to Linkedin to post about the heavily discounted PBS price for patients using Johnson & Johnson's Stelara - perhaps unwittingly opening a Pandora's box in the process.

He used a screenshot of ustekinumab (Stelara) purchased from Chemist Warehouse, Elwood in Victoria for $31.50 with the full cost nominated at $3971.58. It was taken from a post from an unidentified LinkedIn user which read: "the PBS is kind of amazing".
