The Federal Government has awarded $19 million in grants to help build a foundation for Australia's fledgling mRNA sector.
The grants go to six projects. Five of them are funded under the Medical Research Future Fund's National Critical Research Infrastructure Initiative, and seek to build a foundation for Australian researchers to develop mRNA therapies. They will create the infrastructure required to safely develop, test, and evaluate mRNA therapies and vaccines.
