Whose revenue is about to triple?

Revenue for both Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly is forecast to almost triple by the end of the decade, catapulting them to the very top of the company league - a meteoric rise considering the companies only made the Top 10 list for the first time last year.

Numbers crunched by Evaluate in its latest report reveal that sales for each company will grow by more than 12 per cent on an average annual basis from 2023 to 2030 and predicts Novo will rank as the biggest company by worldwide prescription drug sales by the end of the decade, followed by Lilly.

"This is a turn of the tables: neither company had made the top ten at all until their ninth and tenth places last year," the report states.
