New number one for innovation

Novo Nordisk has surged a whopping 18 positions to rank number one in the latest Innovation Index, displacing Pfizer after two years at the top.

The Index, published by IDEA Pharma, seeks to answer the question of which of two pharma companies, given the same molecule in early phase, would do better in developing and launching it.
