Chem Warehouse deal revealed

Sigma Healthcare and Chemist Warehouse Group have announced the details of their planned merger, with the latter's shareholders holding 85.75 per cent of the new mammoth company.

It will see four community pharmacy brands, Chemist Warehouse, Amcal, Discount Drug Stores, and My Chemist, which include almost 1,000 stores in various countries, linked to the one entity, which will also run wholesaling and distribution operations.
