CAR-T treatments could get a boost in take up after new research has designed a way to identify a goldilocks window that balances efficacy and safety, and tailor the treatment accordingly.
The therapy is currently used as a last resort due to potentially severe side-effects, which are experienced by around half of the patients who are treated.
