A rush on Novo Nordisk's diabetes drug Ozempic for off label use as a 'miracle' weight loss drug has resulted in a squeeze on local supply of the medicine.
The company has confirmed there may be 'intermittent availability' of Ozempic after a report in The Australian newspaper revealed thousands of Australians had started using the drug to shed kilos, with the once-a-week injectable helping to supress hunger.
