The Australian pharma jobs market has been described as a 'bunfight' with mercenary recruitment methods and high attrition rates, driven mostly by unsustainable bounty payments to onboard new staff.
Veteran recruitment specialist, PharmiWeb Managing Director Vince Lody, warned attrition rates could hit 15 per cent in June, adding the jobs market would remain 'candidate-led' for at least the next five years.
