Western Australian-based company Commcare, trading as St Francis Pharmacy, has been hit with TGA fines totalling $39,960 for illegally advertising medicinal cannabis on a range of platforms, including as a treatment of fibromyalgia.
"In Australia, medicinal cannabis is regulated as a prescription medicine and cannot be advertised to the public," the regulator explained.
