Managers in a pressure cooker

Managers are copping the brunt of the pressures associated with pandemic work - struggling with hybrid office structures and the responsibility of the well-being of their teams - with many experiencing significantly higher mental distress than their staff.

Not only are they at the company's frontline when employees suffer stresses associated with lockdowns, working from home or even returning to the office, many are in the difficult position of defining hybrid work and entering tricky negotiations with staff about balancing working from home with time onsite.
