Who's to blame for bottlenecks?

Bottlenecks in Australian pharma companies are inadvertently being caused by senior leaders who are doing too much, according to an industry leadership expert.

Earlier this year, Lighthouse and Pharma in Focus conducted one of the largest leadership studies across the ANZ pharmaceutical sector. More than 230 professionals shared their perspectives on leadership, strategy, execution and organisational effectiveness.

Lighthouse Director Eric Miller said higher performing organisations operated differently from their peers - with one of the key findings, the ability to create leadership capabilities at every level of the business.
