Next on NEXT: A drug's life

NEXT Pharma Summit has announced its Day 2 Agenda, and it's a doozy. The day is a single, ambitious program to shine a light on the travails of a new drug on its journey from board sign-off to patient usage.

After the first day puts the industry on the spot, the second day of the Summit gives an insight into how the whole system fits together.

The day will follow a hypothetical new asset, a gene therapy called Nextigene, from the boardroom decision that greenlights it to the patient whose life it's meant to change. It will look at the role of every function in pharma along that journey.
