Aussie pharma exec wins CEO job

Long-time pharma industry executive Nikki Lorenz has been named as the new CEO of the Generic and Biosimilar Medicines Association (GBMA).

Lorenz brings extensive experience in pharma and healthcare to the role, with the GBMA underlining her strong track record of strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, and advancing patient access to medicines.

Her appointment comes at a critical time for sustainable access to medicines for Australian patients. The GBMA pointed to her ability to navigate complex policy environments and work closely with government and industry which it said positions her well to advance the GBMA’s priorities.
