Aussies win global pharma grant

An Australian health initiative has secured more than AU$80,000 in global funding after being named one of just 15 winners of the Boehringer Ingelheim CRM CONNECTIONS Grant.

The Essential GP Checklist for Kidney and Heart Health is a joint initiative by Kidney Health Australia and Hearts4Heart and aims to tackle the nation’s silent epidemic of heart and kidney disease.

It was selected from more than 80 submissions globally with the campaign empowering patients  to take a proactive role in their health by encouraging them to ask their GP for a Heart and Kidney Health Check during routine visits.
