Industry body shuts over funding

After 10 years representing Australian women across life sciences, Franklin Women has been forced to shut down at the end of the year as NSW Government funding dried up.

Events held by the professional organisation were regularly attended by women in pharma with Franklin Women also partnering with several companies - including AbbVie, Merck and Organon - on various initiatives over a number of years.

The professional organisation supported women working in diverse disciplines and career levels across the health and medical research ecosystem.
