Patients name best Aussie pharma

Gilead has stolen the crown from Pfizer to be named the best pharma in Australia and New Zealand by patients, according to this year's PatientView Corporate Reputation Survey.

In a comprehensive win, the company was voted into first place by patient groups who were both  'familiar with' the company and those who had 'worked with' the company. In the 'worked with' cohort AstraZeneca came second and GSK third. In the 'familiar with' cohort Roche claimed silver and AstraZeneca bronze.

Pfizer, which was the top pick in both 2022 and 2023, did not win a place on the podium this year.
