Does the public know your logo?

A recent survey has revealed the general public isn't sufficiently aware of individual pharmaceutical companies to have an opinion on them.

Reputation management company Caliber surveyed over 30,000 people across 13 countries to gauge public perception of pharma companies. Respondents were asked to rate 34 pharmas, selected on having a global market cap of at least $37 billion (US$25 billion) at the end of 2023, to form the basis of the Pharmaceuticals Global Reputation Report 2024.

In the global survey people were asked to pick pharmas they recognised from a series of logos, then gauge their familiarity with those companies on a scale running from one, not at all familiar, to seven, very familiar. Only those who picked four and above for a company were asked to rate it.
