Drug in 'jaw-dropping' PBS fail

The public spotlight has been thrown on Australia's ailing PBS scheme with a scathing newspaper article published last weekend highlighting the injustice of medical access - using MSD's top-selling cancer drug, Keytruda, as a prime example.

The News Corp story pulled no punches, describing "a major failure of our health system which lags the world in funding lifesaving treatments" by comparing access between two patients with cancer caused by the same gene fault.
