TGA expands drug warning
The TGA has updated precautions about the use of four antiepileptic medicines during pregnancy, bringing the Product Information (PI) in line with other medicines used for epilepsy.
The medicines concerned include Link Medical Products' Mysoline, Amdipharm Mercury's Zonegran, Viatris' Dilantin and Arrow Pharma's Phenobarb.
Except for Link Medical Products' Mysoline, there are generic versions of these drugs available in Australia, marketed by Apotex, Aspen, Juno, Orion Laboratories and Pfizer.
