Pharma lifts the lid on WFH

The pandemic has triggered a seismic shift in the way Australian pharma employees value work, with three out of five saying they now place much more importance on work-life balance, family time and mental health.

Two years of extensive lockdowns has seen work-from-home become the norm. According to the Pharma in Focus Great Resignation Survey this experience has triggered deep change in the relationship employees have with their job.

But ironically, while the pandemic has seen pharma employees placing more importance on aspects of their lives outside work, their jobs have become more gruelling, with many complaining they work longer and harder from home.
