Pharma litigator named judge
One of the key pharma IP litigators of the past two decades, Helen Rofe QC, has been appointed to the Federal Court's Victoria registry.
The appointment, announced by Attorney General Michaelia Cash, fills the gap left by the elevation of Justice Simon Steward to the High Court late last year.
Rofe, who has litigated across a broad range of intellectual property and patent cases during her extensive career, will take up the position on July 12.
