Eli Lilly has released a report on how obesity impacts the whole of a person's life, including raising challenges in getting the healthcare they need by discouraging them to talk to their doctor.
The Let's Talk About Weight: A national report on lived experiences of obesity and weight management in Australia report is based on a survey of 1,305 Australians aged 18 and older, including 1,005 living with obesity and a control sample of 300 living without. It also has qualitative input based on 15 in-depth, hour-long interviews with adults living with overweight and obesity.
