Australia's national science agency has opened a $23.1 million shared lab hailed as "the missing link" in the country's ability to produce vaccines and drugs onshore.
Located in the south-eastern Melbourne suburb of Clayton, the CSIRO National Vaccine and Therapeutics Lab, is designed to help turn vaccine and drug candidates into products that can be manufactured onshore in large quantities for clinical trials.
