Newly formed Aussie company Reach Pharmaceuticals is chasing Dr Reddy's Laboratories tail to become the first company to register carboprost - an old medicine used for severe bleeding after childbirth - in Australia.
While Pfizer has marketed the injectable, under the brand name Hemabate, in the US since the 70s, it hasn't registered the drug locally.
