First new therapy nod in 20yrs

Australian patients with an aggressive form of lung cancer have access to a new treatment after the TGA approved Zepzelca - the first new therapy ticked to treat second-line metastatic small cell lung cancer (SCLC) in more than two decades.

Specialised Therapeutics (ST) announced the approval which was fast tracked via Project Orbis, for the treatment of patients with metastatic SCLC that has progressed on or after prior platinum-containing therapy.
