Pfizer AE hits Aussie teens

Two weeks since Pfizer's Comirnaty was approved for use in children over the age of 12, the TGA has received a dozen reports of suspected cases of heart inflammation after vaccination in teens aged between 15 and 17, mostly boys.

The latest  COVID-19 Vaccine Weekly Safety Report released yesterday (Thursday), reveals to 5 September, the TGA had received 370 reports of suspected myocarditis (inflammation of the heart) and/or pericarditis (inflammation of the membrane around the heart) following vaccination with Comirnaty.
