PBAC in meds inquiry hot seat

The Zimmerman inquiry has announced another three days of public hearings with the chair of PBAC, Professor Andrew Wilson, scheduled to take the hot seat in a fortnight.

After hearing evidence from witnesses in three states and receiving 195 submissions - the finger of blame for Australia's poor track record in medicines approval has been pointed squarely and repeatedly at PBAC since the inquiry was announced last August.
