GSK blockbuster hits Australia

GSK's blockbuster shingles vaccine Shingrix has arrived in Australia but it is only available on private script after a PBAC knockback prevented funded access under the National Immunisation Program.

Determined to bring "innovative solutions to those who need them" the company announced today (Tuesday) the vaccine that helps protect against shingles (herpes zoster) in adults aged 50-plus is now available on the private market in Australia.
